Dr. Pongsatorn Sanguanchua

Dr. Pongsatorn Sanguanchua, also known as Dr. Jib, was born into a family of doctors, with his father being a General Surgeon and his mother a Pediatric Cardiologist. As a child, his parents were his role models, working hard to provide proper treatment to their patients, inspiring him to become a doctor. He also had an interest in art and design, originally wanting to become an architect.

After interning at a medical school, he found his calling in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed his training and went on to pursue a teaching career in the Division of Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery at the Prince of Songkhla University. In 2009 he joined the BDMS team in Phuket as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and has been working there since. He specializes in breast surgery, facial surgery, endoscopic surgery, and advanced body contouring surgery.

He puts emphasis on communication with his patients, listening to their expectations and explaining the procedure to ensure they understand the techniques and treatment plan he will use for the best results. Surgical safety and natural–looking results are his main priorities.
